Trade Preferences

I'd love to see trade preferences drilled down to the team and even the GM level. Setting an entire league as "Favoring Prospects" doesnt feel all that realistic to me. It should be tied to the team's current goal (rebuilding, win now) with some variation based on the team or their leadership.

Since I play as the Tigers I prefer to make trades with the National league unless some American league team makes an offer I cant refuse...... so I would love to see them kinds of preferences

I've long been on this train. Needs to happen.

So, I don't know if you guys missed the changes last year, but that's basically what the GM personalities do. GMs can be listed as favoring prospects, they can prefer certain types of players. And that all gets merged in with their team's mode (win-now, rebuild, etc...) as well as their current record, in how much to value prospects vs current talent.

i've tried looking for this, but all i've seen is the AI trading preference. In the on-line manual, the page that might refer to this has an error message on it. Probably missing something obvious, again.

THAT is great Matt. This really makes me happy. Its the one thing that has always seemed to be missing from the trade engine for me.

Matt - can you direct us to where this is in the manual or specify how to locate it in-game?

Thx
