Cato can't open database in v5
I can't open my cato database in the new History 5 program.
It says that opening the database would create duplicate values in the primary key for the table. It doesnt say what table though. So I opened up the database in access and searched all tables for duplicates. There's only 4 or 5 tables that do not allow duplicates for the primary key and NONE of them have duplicates in the datbase. I don't understand why the heck this is happening. The history program is one of the most important parts of the league and I need this to work. I didnt make any manual edits to the database. In fact, I went back 2 seasons and did everything from scratch again and got the same error. Any help?

for anyone that cares:
It seems like History 5 doesnt like my database. I can open the database fine in v4 but not in v5 (5.0 or 5.3), as well as the previous database.

Are you getting the error as soon as you open the DB in v5.3 or after you import stats?
The only time I have gotten the duplicate error message was because I was using a schedule from a different league and the game uses whatever date the schedule says it is, so when every thing was exported it had dates for 1977 and the league was in 1984. |

i get the error as soon as I try to open the database.
I'll look into the date problem, but I'm not exactly sure where to look. Could you give me an idea of where I would look to see if the dates are messed up?

It would tell you on the schedule screen, a different date would be listed then the one in the upper right hand corner (although that one may even be wrong). Also the league news would list the incorrect date. But this doesn't sound like what your problem is since this error message doesn't pop up until after you import stats and it gets to the schedule data.
