2027 MLB Realignment & Expos or Alouettes?

Help me realign 2027 MLB after a 4 team expansion. Havana, Charlotte, Portland & Montreal.
I would like to keep Houston in the NL & Pittsburgh in the AL.
Here's in the 2026 alignment

Expos or Alouettes, Thanx to Pwal for making this hard. Those Alouettes jerseys are really cool.

So is the name "Alouettes" until you look up the meaning of the word in Wikipedia.

"Alouette" or "Alouetté" is a popular French-Canadian children's song about plucking the feathers from a lark, in retribution for being woken up by its song.
I voted for Alouettes before I looked that up! Still, I like the sound of the word and it's definitely Montreal French.

"Expos" is a reference to the Expo 67 World's Fair which is kind of a lame thing to name a team after, especially considering it was 50 years ago. (Personally, it reminds me of how old I am getting, because I was there! )

So, go Alouettes! And yes, their uniforms are cool.

Actually, the Alouettes name also refers to the first French-Canadian squadron of the RCAF (425 Tactical Fighter Squadron), so it's still pretty bad ass, I think.

Who do you think wins a beak-to-beak confrontation between these two? I would have thought the bird in blue but that guy with the caterpillar in its mouth looks intimidating.

Move the cubs or the racers to the west and place two teams(out of Havana. Montreal and charlotte) in whichever league(nl or al) you moved the team in. Then in the other league just put Portland in the west and the remaining eastern team inthe east

Blue Jay, hands down. There is no mention of a blue jay being food for humans.
From Wkipedia
Larks, commonly consumed with bones intact, have historically been considered wholesome, delicate, and light game. They can be used in a number of dishes, for example, they can be stewed, broiled, or used as filling in a meat pie. Lark's tongues were particularly highly valued. In modern times, shrinking habitats made lark meat rare and hard to come by, though it can still be found in restaurants in Italy and elsewhere in southern Europe.[3]

8-8, I figured Alouettes would win easily. Would like 20-25 votes.

Three more Expos votes have come in. It looks like the lark has flown the coop.

Votes keep trickling in but the Expos are maintaining their edge and winning the popular vote 18-15. Is there a way we can get an electoral college thing working here?

The team nickname should be Royals, after the old Montreal Royals of the International League.

But, I can hear the objection, that would mean there are two clubs with Royals as the nickname. Yes! Think of the fun that would ensue when the Royals play the Royals.

"The Royals won!"
"Which one?"
"Kansas City!"
"Oh. I follow the other Royals."

Geez, this election is close! 18-17, Expos. It reminds me of Bush-Gore 2000. How could I manufacture fraudulent Alouettes votes as in Trump-Clinton 2016?

An even more interesting question is, why do I care so much about the lark to keep coming back here?

I have 3 Royals teams in this universe. MLB KC Royals, EBL Alderaan Royals & CBF Organa Royals.

Where should Charlotte go? I have too many east coast teams. I could keep at as 2 divisions, 9 teams per division
