Offseason 2016 Quickstart

I took Philthepat's August 1st 2016 roster updated and added all the trades and waiver wire moves between August 2 and November 2nd, then released all the free agents from their contracts and extended the players that needed to be extended, and added the latest front office folks to their team. I didn't touch the 40 man rosters (limits on time and sanity, etc. etc.) but the correct players should be on their teams.

Looks good. How about personal Changes like Manager ones? Minor League Teams Changes/Staff? Sale on the block or on Red Sox's? Also if did Updated Rosters as of Today the Pirates could still Trade him to Nats for Robles if we're on the block. Also Overseas/International Leagues ones up to date to?

Mgom27 - In answer to your questions:
1. Personnel changes - I used Baseball-Reference to update the Major League staffs, so those should be recent as of Friday. Because the original had the full coaching structure turned off, I just populated the majors and left the minors up to the individual staffs.

2. No on the minor league affiliate changes.

3. The Rosters are effective as of November 2nd, so Sale is still a White Sock (Sox? Soxi? Help me out here Game).

4. No on international/overseas.

Pretty much its a quick and dirty start up for the off season that's focused on the majors.

Thanks and it's easy for me to update rosters as of today. I just delete most of Overseas/International ones becuase always get an error about Rosters in the future. Another problem is you won't get accurate Non Rosters guys and Rule 5 Guys.

I noticed Carl Crawford on the Cardinals,the Game thinking Andy Wilkins 1B,Shaw at 3B Brewers and in real life Shaw would be at 1B and somebody else at 3B,Fowler as backup CF for Cardinals,Turner Triple-A Dodgers,Rich Hill DFA same with Ruiz but is on Mariners any way. You got non tendered guys on the market and that's good. Their's other mistakes but just updated MLB Rosters and not MILB ones to.

Hm. Tried to insert it into my copy of OOTP17, but it wouldn't go. "Cannot download world file".

Oh no, and I spent a week doing this myself, to keep daily up-to-date rosters, lol...

Nice job though, this is what I would have been looking for.

Hey guys, so I copied the quick start folder into my The game's quick start folder in My Documents. Now when I load the game, go to new quick start, and click on the off-season 2016 quick start, the game stops working.

Any ideas as to why this would happen?

Finally got it to worked.

I guess I kind of assumed this had accurate stats as well...

Is anyone updating this to reflect the latest offseason moves? Will the file keep being updated from now until the start of the 2017 season?

Don't use this League in others that are before 2016 like 2014 US Baseball League and Game will Stop at some point like in June before Draft or League that's at January 1st 2017 and do changes to League S. and next game won't be intill 2018 but will still update Rosters intill today some how using this set with the saved Template of it I have.
