Adjusting a few hundred ballparks.... any faster way?
So I'm looking at making a creative universe of "Arena Baseball". It involves changing all park factors to a very uniform setting, as well as park dimensions.
Except I have quite a few leagues with 32 teams each, and each have a minor league to them as well. Is there any way I can adjust all the ballparks without going one-by-one?

That's a good question. I am getting ready to play a regular MLB season and when I look at the parks, the entire defense is smashed together on the infield. My left and right fielders are clear down at short and second. So we both need to know.

The player positions are easy:
![]() The park factors, IIRC, have to be one done by one. But you can export one and then manually import that park's data to each other park. Might speed things up a bit. |

export a default, then i belive the import option says apply to all parks in the league. should include all the stuff you can edit - positions / factors / weather etc... but make sure... may need to do it piecemeal for each subsection of a park.
may need to do that per league, too. Last edited by NoOne; 12-28-2016 at 03:06 PM. |

Since the coordinates can be saved, couldn't we collect them (along with the pictures they apply to) in one location? Whenever someone sets up another park(s), they could post the file(s) at that location. Eventually, we could have a pretty large collection. Or is it not that simple?

so, you make one stadium represent the default you want, export it, then import over all stadiums. ahh it says all ballparks... you can still take advantage of this to save time.
if you are just neutralizing it, use that function. weather can be controlled globally as far as rain delays... and i assume importing parks also overwrites the positioning stuff for what you see in a game. at the very least, as pstrickert mentioned, they can just import manually from a standard file you distribute (in online league). but, you'd have to click it for every single stadium in the league. you could rename exported files and replace their existing counterparts inthe game's data directory then auto-import all stadiums. so the next time you do it is quicker, figure out a fast way now and save the files somewhere safe or whatever is necessary. in fact, if you've already "fixed" all of htem, i'd export all ballparks to a safe location. very simple import from that point on.
