All 297 Rounds??
I am "rebuilding" the Houston Astros from scratch with a player dump into free agency / fantasy MLB. There are 297 rounds in the Inaugural Draft. Has anyone actually done a full team build and picked, not simmed, all 297 rounds?

nah, once i have my MLB / depth and all the prospects i can find that i want... i auto-draft the rest.
i do prefer a certain type of filler for my MiL... they need to add "pro service time" to the filters to make this sort of thing easier.. i'd probably sort by current contact with consideration of potential for each position at each tier (they gotta be able to make it to AAA). I may not do that for the entire minors, but i'd go until the potential ratings started dumping - there's typically a ton of average to above average prospects with inaugural drafts, at least in 2016 (or year of game's release if differnet version) if it is a fitcional league, then there's fewer prospects to look for, if i recall correctly. Only 297 rounds? 20,699 players / 30 teams is a pick short of 690 rounds.
And yes, I've done a full draft, controlling every team. I'm probably the only person to be that insane. |

What do you do with the players once you do that? Can you add minor league teams?
I did a fantasy draft and now I have a DSL team with about 100 guys on it and now they're all mad because they don't get playing time. Should I just cut 75 of them? |

Cut about 65. The guys whose potential indicates that they'll have trouble making the grade in girls' Little League don't do your organization any good.
