Winter League for Online League
What's the best way to set this up in an online league setting?
Do I give every team a new affiliate or have each team pick 5-7 players to send to 6 different teams like real life? What level do I set the league to so as not to interfere with player morale? |

Add a Double A affiliate to your league and have it play during the winter (January and February). You should also change your PCM's to show what kind of league you want it to be. I set my PCM's to between AA and AAA to make the Winter League for mostly just prospects and guys from the Majors who are looking to learn a new position.
I attached a screenshot of how you can change the game from saying Double A to Winter League, so you know which affiliate to send them too. |

You can do it either way. You can create an IND league that plays in the winter or an affiliated league that plays in the winter. If you go the IND league route that will be strictly for FAs to play in and you can actually setup a FA draft for this league. This is one cool way of keeping your FA from sitting and doing nothing. Then in this IND league you can create a purchase price for them to come back to the main league in the settings. |
