Updating Versions

I am starting my third season of OOTP 17. If I am in the middle of a season when 18 comes out, what happens to my season and league when I update?

They will continue on once you convert them into the new version. There is always an option to bring your league forward from the previous version.

In case that wasn't clear - your leagues are not automatically upgraded from one version to the next. The OOTP 18 installation will not touch the OOTP 17 installation. You just import the league from version to version. Even that doesn't actually do anything to the old version - it just makes a copy and does whatever needs to be done to bring it up to the new version. So you can go back to the version in OOTP 17 if you need to.
