crashes creating pictures
I just finished a 1964 season and have moved on to 1965. It's the 1st game of the new season. I go to play it and as it's loading the pre-game stuff, it stops while in the creating pictures part. The box comes on that says "ootp17.exe has stopped working". Nothing to do but close the program. I restarted ootp and tried another season and played a game with no problems. Went back to 1964 season and even simmed the 1st week. Tried to play out the next game and the same thing happened. I tried to do a "restore from backup" which was up to date. I get the same thing with the back up. Has anybody had this problem? I very rarely have any crashes. Don't know why it's having a problem with creating pictures in that particular season. I was playing with historical lineups and transactions. Looks like I'll have to delete the whole 1964 season league because it or the backup isn't working. Maybe the mode I'm playing doesn't let you continue to the next year? I don't know. Just wondering if anybody had a problem like this. Thanks

Well I tried it a couple of more times with the same results. Now, this last time, I simmed one week. Then I simmed another week. Now it's 4/28/1965. 9 games have gone by. I go to play out the next game and now it is going through and I can play it. Beats me as to what was going on. I don't get it. At least it's working again. Weird. Never had this before. Thanks for listening.

I have had crashes like this and I found Windows 10 was ready to update and was looking to restart. Happened 2-3 times for me. Once updates were installed, all was well.

Thank you. I do have windows 10. I'll check for anymore updates and reboot, Once I got it to work again, it was fine. No more crashes. Thanks again for the tip.
