GM Only Mode; Head Coach Contract Expired; Can't Hire Replacement

Anything I'm doing wrong?

It's July before my 7th season managing Kootenay in the WHL in GM Only mode.

My head coach's contract expired at the end of season 6, and he didn't ask to renew. I had forgotten he was on the last year of his deal.

Now in the offseason I see I am listed as GM/head coach.

I click the Personnel button -> Free Agents button, but when I try to hire a new head coach the hire button is grayed-out when I right click each coach. Am I now stuck, unable to hire a replacement?

Yeah, it should be allowing you to hire a new HC, we'll have to check on that. What happens if you try to hire your old head coach back, same thing?

Just tried it. Same thing -- "Hire Head Coach" is grayed out.

We had another similar report, so it looks like something's definitely going wrong there. On the list to be checked now.
