Approve or Disapprove This Trade Please

Chad Antonini is a clone of Aramis Ramirez. i need a good glove who can hit. I am not losing anything in the trade other then a GG Catcher but i have 2 young C's who have 8 arms. None of the 3 can hit. None will be starters. i do have a SS Wagner who can play some 3B but he has no power, I have a rookie 3B who has power but can;t hit above .220. it does leave Panasonic with a gaping hole at 3B.

I also have 2 young OF, so Jordan would be a 4th- 5th OF.

Usually I don't trade younger players for guys in their mid-thirties but in your case, the average age of your offers is over 31 so you are not giving up much age differential in this trade. Antonini is only going to give you a couple or three more years of 20-25 homers and 60-75 runs batted in, but that's more than your three guys are going to do. Go for it.

EDIT: On second look, although I see you have decent bats at 1B, SS, and the OF on your roster, none of your catchers can hit! Unless Markle is only in a temporary slump, it may be that Mullen is your best hitting catcher right now. If so, I would see if I could move Mullen out of the deal and substitute another player or two, draft picks, and/or cash. Unlikely, because based on Mullen's ratings (yours, but the AI is probably in agreement to some extent), he's probably the one that the AI is after, especially for his fielding. Plus he's content to be a bench player! That's relatively rare in this current version of OOTPB. Yes, I would try to hold onto him, go for a starting catcher someplace, and have Mullen as a backup C and defense substitute. Probably not possible in this deal, but worth a shot.

After simming it looks like Panasonic does not want to do this trade.

I know, I simmed a week and they said no. Simmed another week, they said no again. Yhey want more but then cannot afford the salaries of 4 MLers.

Yes, I believe I have seen that myself. If you don't click to close the deal right away, the AI may "change its mind" in the meantime.
