sim times worse?

Hi: I downloaded the Aug 30 rosters, and now my sim times have gone up dramatically. I deleted the Ind, Japanese and European leagues, but it's still taking much longer than it used to. I'm wondering if I have something set wrong, or if it's just the number of leagues?

i'd look over the settings. could remake the league and make sure to delete the leagues before you finish creating the games. i'd start with whatever takes less time, personally.

double check global seettings - logs and anythign else you may or may not like. could try defragmenting the drive or preferrably just the folder of your saved game.

I would think deleting the leagues would improve the sim times. there is definitely a difference between MLB and MLB+entire world of leagues. in the future remove the ones you don't want at league creation, make a template of some base configuration.

Also remember if you add leagues and delete them, if you have 4000 players in your free agent pool, that will slow things down too.

As well, double check which leagues have boxscores/game logs/etc generating for. Easy to accidentally generate game logs for leagues you don't care about, which can have a big effect on performance.

exactly. it takes processing power for all the teams to evaluate and decide if they want to make a move for all those new free agents
