Game Crash on Steam

Game starts up. Once i put in my info and it starts setting up the game it reaches the end of set up and crashes. i have tried the "nofacegen" fix and it still isn't working. My computer (Surface Pro 4 i5) may not be the best but it runs EHM fine so i just want be sure that i'm not missing something.

Best would be if you could post a trace file. Go to Settings -> Troubleshooting -> enable debug trace, then restart the game and go again to Troubleshooting. Open the "customization data" folder (click the button and it should open) and navigate into the debug folder. Post the file you see there.

My game also keeps crashing at the same point..

Nothing wrong in the trace. Would it be possible to make a screenshot of the crashed game so I can see what the last thing is it did before the crash?

Also: what type of game is it? Could you also test a game with just the NHL/AHL enabled and maybe a random historical setup?

So like i said i can start the game. set up my GM info/stats. but it gets to the initializing game part of the load and it crashes. This load was with just NHL/AHL and it still crashed.

I posted photos but i just realized i sent the trace wrong so here is an updated one....

I started another path to glory and it crashed at the same spot, always the day after the all-star rosters are announced.

EDIT: Also tried a sandbox game and it also crashed at the same spot.

Do you play with Montreal? It is a know bug and is already fixed. After the next update you can continue with that save.

I´m not 100% sure it is the problem but this line will not work:

Screen Size: 1080 Width, 720 Height; Available Screen Size: 1080 Width, 720 Height, Screen-Size w/o Border: 1070 Width, 693 Height, DPR: 2

Basically it says that you have only a Height of 720 (or 693) but the minimum requirement is 768. You have a windows zoom of 200%, please try to reduce it until you get the game to open in at least 1280*768.

Yeah, I just found the reason for the crash. Since the game will not work below the minimum resolution anyway we will add a warning now.

save game is uploaded: "redseacrashsandbox.lg"

After the patch the game will sim past the day but the next it crashes again. Tried with new save and old save. Both played as Montreal.

If you play with Montreal the game will crash on Jan 28 (the day of the ASG). Once the new update is out you should be able to continue.
