Offline installation

I'm installing OOTP on a pc with no internet connection. It seems older versions can be installed without an active internet connection but when I check the install page the update date is like 2010.

Can the OOTP17 game still be installed in similar fashion.

i don't know if it even validates over the internet, or not. so, try it offline first and scan over all the UI screens for any checkbox or option relating to offline.

otherwise, if it does require internet for the initial validation:

if it has no wifi card, but it has an ethernet port, plug it into the router or you can even use internet sharing and bring a laptop to it. google "how-to share internet connection winX" for steps.
