Files not deleted?

I deleted my MLB career by going to Load Game, highlighting the league I wanted to delete, clicked it, it took a few minutes, then it said:

"Deleted 38752 files. 3 files could not be deleted."

What does that mean exactly and does it slow down my game any? How do I delete the 3 that couldnt be?

Take a look in your saved games folder. Usually, the game does a good job of deleting everything except, perhaps, the folder itself which ends up empty.

For example, I recently deleted ATG. The folder is still there, but it's empty.

In your case, however, if you navigate there with Windows File Explorer (or the Mac equivalent), you are likely to find the three files are still in your folder.

If you do, could you post again and tell us what they are? Because I have never seen that message.

The files themselves should be manually delete-able using Windows File Explorer (or the Mac equivalent). Delete the folder, too.

It's possible you filled up the recycle bin. You should check to see if it is empty. I use my file manager to delete big numbers of files and folders. They usually give you the option to delete completely vs sending to the recycle bin. See below.
