Player Not Playing When I Simulate
Hi, my 3B got injured so I had to call up a 3B from the AAA. I put him into the lineup but I noticed when I simulate he is being left out of the lineup. I went into strategy and set him to force play, then I noticed he was being used as a DH. What gives? Is there something in settings I have to change?
Thanks |

Is your starting 3B still playing with a DTD injury ahead of the replacement? If so, you can go to the starter's strategy section and fill in the Bench Player for X Days so that he isn't playing while injured. Usually forcing the backup into the starting lineup does work, but this is just for those rare cases where it doesn't. |

Make sure you don't have another third baseman forced to start there. I've had that happen once or twice with prospects who I had forced to start at a position in the minors, then forgot to remove it when they reached the majors.

Hi , guys. It's good now. I think the problem was with the lineups screen. He was inserted into 3rd base but for some reason that blue square beside his name was still on "-". I had to switch it to "3B".

Ah, that's gotten me a few times. Seems like it's random whether or not it automatically puts the position in.

Is it the Moneyball bug where Art Howe refuses to put in the lineup that Billy Beane wants?
