I don't like either, but i think the baseball HoF lets too many in to begin with. the world's worst selection process of the 4 major sports (no, not soccer!)... sports journalists that eat doughnuts and write soap operas pandering to the mindless fans that can't remember more than the previous week. LoL! THAT is who should hold the key to the HoF... what a joke. they cannot call themselves journalists and not crack a smile.

There are only ~25 or so players with 2500 hits not in the HoF... almost all of them because they are recently retired or some type of misconduct - bonds, rose etc... A few on that list merely slipped through the world's worst selection process while other similar players of their generation are in it.

he may be borderline, but you can't say you'd be surprised if he was in the HoFin RL.

The pitcher looks like a sure-fire "no," though.
