Pretty sure this was the survey that they're referencing: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...copy-fhm3.html

Speaking of such, I don't think they ever announced the winners?

1. Where is this mysterious poll that shows who plays what. I keep hearing that nobody plays fantasy. Yet I keep seeing fantasy guys asking questions.I have never played a "Real League" game and dont ever plan on it.
Do you really think we make up polls or see that the majority wants to play feature X but instead go and work on feature Y that nobody wants? As I said over and over again, we care about every single user but in the end we want FHM to grow and to be available in 5 years and for that we need to work on features/modes first, that the majority of people wants to play.

Not sure what Madden has (never played it) and you canīt buy any apartment in FHM (or anything else not related to a hockey manager). But just because you donīt want to play such mode, maybe a lot of other user want to?

I repeat myself: the "huge number" you talk about are what, 5 people in this thread? Yes, they are loud and yes, I totally understand their frustration. But do you think we have 10 sales (then it would be a huge number)? Luckily we have a few more and even if they are not on this board, the are also a very important part of FHM.

Iīm happy that you support FHM but if you donīt "give a rats @$$ about redoing some lame NHL season", maybe FHM (at least at this point) is not the right game for you.

We donīt post those numbers but as I wrote before: the majority wants to play the modern game (most of them day to day), followed by historical play and then fictional play.

Sorry to hear, hopefully we see you back sometimes in the future.

That being said the combination of a feature that I'd find absolutely no use for (NHL licensing), and the removal of how i essentially would play the game (online leagues), has effectively removed me from considering FHM purchases for the immediate future.

Figured as a customer that has been buying your products since OOTP6 was a thing, youd want to know. Or not.

Just curious as to what the match engine is like? Will you be able to see player and puck movement or is it through text description?

Thank you.

We donīt have a 2D/3D view. We show what zone the puck is (and which player has it) and we also show all events happening (moves, passes, shots, hits, ...). But it is in the form of text description.

Could I at least get a match screenshot so I could perhaps answer my own question.

It is not possible to save your game during a match. That is something we have on our list but it is not that easy to implement. Maybe we get a change for one of the updates after release.

I'm really looking forward to this as I have really enjoyed FHM2. Hopefully the trade AI will be given an overhaul as it was often too easy to prise away opponents future stars.

I've pre-ordered a Steam version of FHM3 and activated it. I presume it will appear in my game list closer to the release date?

Consider me intrigued with FHM3 despite no online leagues.

I know it'll be available once it's ready. Whenever that is.

Just curious if there is any specific date where more of the enhancements will be identified? From what I have seen so far, I know we have NHL licenses, better tactics, new game mode, and improved UI.....all good stuff, but I am really interested to know what else was done to improve all the other features....are you able to share at a high-level some of the other "smaller" things?

National teams, international tournaments, world rankings (works all hand in hand of course), much more news (like milestones, streaks, great performances and so on), complete new injury system with context based injuries and different body parts, central scouting agency, complete new tactics system, complete new player role system, re-worked game rating with 3 values now (offense, defense, overall), more stats, achievements, Steam Works, better scaled stars (using the complete scale from 0.5-5.0), new GM/coach score system, new reputation system (based on individual leagues and worldwide now) and many tweaks, fixes and small stuff.

I also rework the In-Game presentation a bit at the moment. Once I finished it I will give a few more details here as well (no 2D3D ).

Thank you, that was enough to get me to pre order

But before I do, quick question on versions....besides Steam Workshop and Steam Achievements, I am assuming there are no other differences between Steam and OOTP version, is that correct? Any opinion on which version to buy going forward? I am leaning towards OOTP version but if the direction of the company is to more be compliant with Steam, then might head that direction.

Achievements are part of both versions (the Steam version just submits them to Steam as well) and you can use all mods with the normal version as well (like logo packs), you just need to copy the files per hand. So there is no real difference (maybe rankings, not sure at this point if they might be steam only). So it comes down to your personal preference. If you use Steam for your other games, I would buy a Steam key, if you donīt use Steam, just go with the eSellerate version.

Until everything is finalized (like name and logo of the franchise) we canīt do that. When the NHL has everything in place Iīm sure we will look into it.
