What's The Best Way to Do This?
I still have fond memories of my Little League team that went all the way to the State Championship back in the 1960;s, and remember the whole team, position by position. So, what I wanted to do, was have these guys become part of an amateur draft pool at some point and have careers in MLB. I know what I'm going to do to get them in, simply edit existing draft pool names.
What I'm unsure of is how I can get all of us to have "good" MLB careers. I don't want to turn development off, so there's obviously a chance that even if I edit names of top notch prospects some will fail badly. It's just a cool fantasy league that I'd like to see all of us drafted all over the MLB and all of us have successful careers. How would I do that?? I'm unsure on the editing of players but guess I can learn how. I don't want all of us to have Hall of Fame careers, but I do want all of us to have careers. Is that possible with development left on (and at 100)? How would I do it, go in and edit these 15 players every year to make sure they stay at least good? My plan was to have 5 appear a year over 3 years (which mimics our ages as were all 10 to 12 years old on that Little League team) and I guess change names on 5 top prospects every year? And then follow and edit as some inevitably fail/fall off? Maybe this is a little more than I can handle but it would be a fun fantasy league for me to run. Any advice/help is appreciated.

I don't have the game open in front of me but it's pretty easy.
1. Be in commissioner mode 2. Go to a player you want to edit and click on the edit tab 3. Inside the tab you will find a on the left I believe what type of player you want them to be and if they are fully developed or not. It will give you options such as superstar, legend, etc. It will also give you options for fully developed, half way developed etc. On the right you can also mess with their numbers to absolutely ensure they are what you want them to be. However it sounds as if you want to leave some room for mystery so you could leave that alone. Hope this helps |

In the player editor, left column, 2/3 of the way down is injury likelihood. I would lower that, I cannot remember where personality is but I would raise work ethic and intelligence...
or you can have them be older when they are draft eligible, say 23 or 24, and have them fully developed and skip development. Then you are not screwing with league development just skipping those players early development. When you are in the right column you can adjust all ratings. You can also adjust, click over to the player profile and see if you are getting what you want then go back and fix it again.
