Resign as general manager?
I play OOTP 16. I'm the general manager in my fantasy league. I'm also 90 years old.
![]() How do I resign as general manager? How do I then create a new gm that is my son or grandson? I've reached Legendary status, we just lost the World Series after winning 106 games in the regular season, and I'd like to go out while I've still got it. ![]() Thanks for the help! |

1. Play in Commissioner Mode.
2. Go to Manager's Office. Select the bottom choice in the dropdown menu "Manager & GM Actions": Quit Job. 3. Using the Manager dropdown menu at the top of the screen, select Other Human Managers and then Add/Edit Manager to create your new personality. 4. Select "Available Jobs" from this same menu and choose your team. |

As a follow-up question to the above.
I don't like the name I chose for my new gm. Several days have passed and messages have gone out. If I change the name of my new gm, does the game just go on like normal with his new name, or will it assume it's a different guy? |

I haven't done it, but I believe that you can edit his name without consequence. I don't think the prior messages will be changed to the new name, but the game should count him as the same person for purposes of his record.
I suggest going back to the add/edit manager screen to change the name, and remember to hit enter after each new name is typed. |

Thanks again Orcin. That's what I figured but was afraid to try.
