All Star Game Starters???

Anyone notice the AI does not always start those elected as starters? In my current season I had 5 players voted to start (SP, C, LF. CF & RF) yet two were used as pinch hitters (LF & RF). This is not the first time I have noticed it happen.

I had this happen during my most recent All-Star game for the first time on the current patch as well. I didn't mind, since sometimes the AI/voting seems to put players at the wrong positions, but it was odd.

Yeah, this happens to me as well. I am at work, so I can't see the game screens right now, but this is basically what I do to make sure the lineups match the voting. Excuse me if I get any of the tabs or screen names wrong.

When it is time for the All-Star game to be played, I click on "manage" game, and when the lineups screen comes up, I click on the "options" tab, and switch control of substitutions for both teams to "human" control, I make appropriate lineup changes putting in who should be starting for both teams, and then click "play game". Once the game has started, but before first pitch, I go back to options and switch control back to "AI" for substitutions. Sometimes, I just go ahead and manage the substitutions for both teams for the entire game, which is quite fun trying to make sure everyone plays!

What I have a problem with is that the checkbox for every team to be represented is being ignored. It's checked. But not every team has a player on the all star roster.
