possible import issue/bug

I am having what might be an import issue. I am playing an all star league and when I import 1923 Babe Ruth to free agent his contact and power ratings are 80/80 but when I import him as ruthba01,1923,NYY his ratings as a Yankee are 45/70? Is there a way to get the 1923 Ruth to match his 80/80 ratings instead of the 45/70. Can I get his true ratings to overide those which look to be in error.

The other tricky thing is that I already played some games and want the season stats to stay rather than to just sign the free agent and delete the inferior version.

Go in commissioner mode and adjust them to what you want them to be.

what is the importance of importing ruthba01,1923,NYY ? If a regular import of Ruth yields the ratings you desire , just import him and edit him to the Team of your choosing.
