Historical league using alternative database

Hello,

I have been getting back into OOTP and have been trying to setup a league using the spritze HS database. What I am noticing is that fictional characters are being generated for the first year player draft and historical ones being free agents. Is this due to some sort of new feature I am not aware of? If so how can I make it so the historical players are used for the first year player draft. This has neveer been an issue in previous iterations of the game. I have spent many hours simming and trying to resolve this myself. I have also looked on the forums to no avail. Sorry if this has been addressed before.

Actually upon looking at it closer it doesn't appear anyone from the spritze hs database is being imported at all

I have done at least a dozen different league startups using Spritze in 17 and never had the issue.

you need to go into game/settings/league settings/historical and make sure the database path is pointing to the folder with the gambo-spritze Db

also below that make sure import rookies as free agents is Not ticked

Also if the draft pool is already created you can delete the entire pool (and any Historical players who were put into free agency) reschedule the draft pool announcement date (League events) to a future date and when you advance to it, it will recreate the draft pool

at the bottom if this screenshot is the area to check the database path
