Create A New Home/Hub Screen
It is my opinion that OOTP needs to redesign the home screen as an interactive web page that pushes information to the user like a real sports website and incorporates facegen with headlines or comments to make the game feel more alive. Also as the home page it needs to include links to allow the user to access other parts of the game. Here is my own quick and dirty attempt. I incorporated text and headlines from the game into the webpage. I warn you I am an amateur. Would love to see other people take a stab at it

I like the idea of an interactive home screen, but here are a few quick thoughts on your design:
First, the larger facegens means larger facegen files and likely slower load times. I don't want a slower game just to have bigger facegens. Second, there's a lot of wasted space there (look at all the white/gray area with nothing in it on the left and right). One smaller screens, every iota of screen space should be used to present information. I think what you've designed is a better start for a league or team news page, not a user homepage. |

A lot of this kind of information seems to exist in the newspaper section it just needs to presented better. Web form is probably a nice update for modern times and although the news paper would be nice for historical games.

I can see the appeal, but I'm also in the "it's not worth the processing time that such a pretty presentation would require" camp on this one.
