team owner (no owners)

does anyone know how i sign a team owner? i just started playing this game again, and i am building a league. i have teams without owners, and i do not seem to be able to force a signing through the editor. do teams eventually sign a new owner if the position is empty? or, how can i fix this?

You can't "sign" an owner because it's not really a personnel position. Odd that you have teams that don't have owners, I've never experienced that problem. It will probably play itself out.

From the team info screen, there's a link to an owner profile page. You can use that to edit basic information about owners (name, birthday, nationality, hometown) and edit their picture. But that's about it.

ya, the problem is there isnt anyone to edit. but there are "free agent" owners available which is weird. but one would think that if you went into those FA owners profiles and edited their job, you could place them as an owner.

did you turn owners on midstream? or are they on?

if you can't edit them in commissioner mode than you are out of luck, likely. something must be causing it, though. definitely click through all the settings pages.

I have seen free agent owners in the available personnel list, too. I just delete them because there's nothing you can do with them.
