Historical Game Minor Leagues Question
What is typically the best way to handle minor leagues when starting a historical game? I want to start a random debut game beginning in 1901 and am not sure how to deal with this. Should I use just AAA, have no minor leagues, or have more than just AAA? Thanks.

I started a MLB replay in 1901 with just AAA minors. Once there was a buildup of players, I added AA in 1911. I am up to 1935 and still have not added A minors yet.

Thanks. How do you add a minor league once the game has already started? Do you just use the add league button?

If you're not concerned with minor league stats you could use reserves. I believe prospects will still develop the same as having a minor league system. I prefer using reserves in certain leagues because I'm not interested in their minor league stats and it also helps with sim speed, keeps the league file size down, etc.. It really comes down to preference though

I agree with doing it in the offseason, after Dec 31, when almanacs are created.
