Solution to Player Photos Not Zoomed Out

This thread should probably go in the Mods and Logos Forum, but more people will see it here... my apology to those of you who are offended by this violation of Forum Protocol.

Ignorance can be educated.

Crazies can be medicated.

But Stupid lasts forever.

It could be I am the only stupid OOTPB player.

For many years now I have been stupid... but today BigRed75 educated me... I am now eternally indebted to him for sharing this absolutely marvelous information.

For years and years I have been resetting ad nauseum the "zoom out" and "randon view" on my player photos... since OOTP12 to date I think I have reset the team photos 1,987,654,321 times... and yes I kept accurate records about this process.

I know all of you know about the GLOBAL setting for FaceGen and don't need this info... but just in case...

If you have had the same problem... here's the solution courtesy of BigRed75:

Okay Eugene (and anyone else who's interested).

If you go to the File menu, and then choose "Settings" (about 2/3rd of the way down), you'll get a box that pops up on your screen. These settings are global, so what you set here will be true for every game you play in OOTP17.

As you can see from the screenshot, there's a tab called "3D & FaceGen". Click on that, and you'll need to set the three options I've circled. You want FaceGen zoom and Profile Picture zoom both set to Out, as you can see, you'll get more of the jersey that way. I like FaceGen angle set to random, it makes it more realistic, otherwise, everyone is straight-on looking at the camera and that's just not the way team photos are.

FaceGen zoom sets the baseball cards and mouse-over pictures, and profile picture zoom sets the pictures on the player screens.

From what you've said, these settings will give you want you want. Remember, though, any player pictures that have already been made won't be changed straight away. You'll have to either wait until the system updates them (after the player is traded, or about once a year when the player gets older) or you can generate it yourself if you notice a player whose picture is zoomed in.
