help!

I can't not load my saved game. When I try to load it gets to 42% (loading coaches) and stops responding. I can load other saved games but of course not the one I want to play. Everything was fine when last night but then this afternoon it won't load. I did download the latest patch but that was after I realized I couldn't load the game.

Pm Bigrod, sounds like it might be a world.dat problem. i have not experienced it but i have seen others have a similar issue.

well here we go again!!! I never got the saved game in my first post to work so I just started a new game. Well I was a couple seasons into it and I'm exiting the game and power goes off. Beautiful sunny day perfect weather just random power goes off and two seconds later it comes back on. I try to reload my game to make sure everything works and "error could not copy SQLite database to work folder." Is there any hope or is this just another saved game wasted?

I had a similar problem in OOTP16 - it would always stop on 30% (loading nation flags). It would work itself out eventually but the game might take 10 minutes or so to load. Have you tried just waiting it out?

Got your pm...I've no clue on this mySQL stuff..However, depending on your auto-save settings, you may be able to recover your game...
Make a copy of your non working saved game folder first!!
Look in your saved games folder and you should see the auto-save folder, open it and copy those files to the saved games folder and over write those files.
Depending on your auto-save settings (I think once a year is default, you can set it for every day, week, month and year.) you will lose some of your progress, but you should at least be able to start it up and continue.
