Commish Sim 2016 and Beyond

Hello all!!

I have loved doing simulations in this game for a long time and I figured why not start posting this stuff on the internet (what could go wrong..)

So basically the point of this series is just to watch and see how the world of the MLB progresses over the years. We will be starting at the beginning of the 2016 season and moving forward from there. I will check in at the beginning of the season on the preseason predictions, the top hitter and pitcher as well as prospects, I'll also update at the all-star break and then finally at the playoffs. I hope you guys enjoy this! If you do please feel free to leave a comment or a criticism on how I can make this series better in the future!

Also to clarify I will be adding 2 expansion teams in the Carolina Warhounds and the returning Montreal Expos, as these two teams are in an online league of mine and I personally believe that the 32 team system is more fun to play with. Since we are adding 2 new teams we will have to shift the divisions around slightly, so they now look like this

AL East: New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Baltimore Orioles, Toronto Blue Jays
AL Central: Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Minnesota Twins, Chicago White Sox
AL West: Los Angeles Angels, Oakland Athletics, Seattle Mariners, Colorado Rockies
AL South: Tampa Bay Rays, Kansas City Royals, Houston Astros, Texas Rangers
NL East: New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, Montreal Expos, Pittsburgh Pirates
NL Central: St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers, Cincinnati Reds
NL West: Arizona Diamondbacks, San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres
NL South: Atlanta Braves, Washington Nationals, Miami Marlins, Carolina Warhounds

No surprise here, as Harper is one of the game's elite players and definitely deserving of the #1 player ranking at the beginning of the seson. It will be interesting to see how Washington does this season, as they have all the tools they need to be successful.

This is a major shock for me, as Darvish is selected as the #1 pitcher in the preseason rankings. This is especially surprising considering this is his return from a devastating injury and yiu have guys like Clayton Kershaw and Jake Arrietta much lower, but if Darvish can bounce back and have a great year than that would be a huge boost to the Rangers playoff hopes

Corey Seager has all the tools necessary to be a future MVP of this league, he'll get his first taste of big league action this season and it will be interesting to see how he does with his opportunity on a good baseball team.

Michael Matuella is an interesting case, he is someone who is progressing much faster than onyone expected and even though he is still in single A, he might be making his major league debut at some point this season. It will be interesting to see how his career progresses in the future.

I am following along, I always find it interesting how these sims work out...

I do have to comment that some of the screen shots are very hard to read (series recaps, player pages, etc) and for some reason I have no option to zoom in.

I am curious how Aaron Judge's career turns out.

I am going to try a new format for the screenshots, they will be much bigger so you can definitely read them.
