MLB rival league

what would be the best way to set up a rival league for the MLB and build it up. i would love any suggestions and any help.
some of the main thing
1. financials
2. league reputation
3. drafting
4. FA

i would love to do it and possibly do a dynasty thread now that i have some free time. any suggestions would help. if i do create it those of you who helped may be able to "participate" in the league
Thanks

Just add major league to your game change the name of the teams. Delete any of need be. Mass delete all players and then full team
With fictional players

What about financials. You would think a league starting would be at somewhat of a disadvantage

You could pick a financial year from the past where teams didn't charge as much and didn't have as much to spend. Decide what you want the salaries to be for your new league and then import the financial data from a year with corresponding salaries.

How would the drafts work. Would you just make it have its own draft

I've not done two major leagues that weren't in an association before but yes, I believe each one will have its own draft.

Just a question. Has anyone ever done this. I'm either going to make them separate and keep them separate or make them separate and combine later.
If you have done either I'd love to hear about it and I'd appreciate any info
