Players generated for draft
I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong here in my setup or if this is a bug.
I'm trying to set up a custom league that will use real players. I don't want to blast through the real players in 20 - 30 years, so I deleted all minor leagues except AAA and then set the number of rounds to 5 with 31 players generated for each round. To test it, I quick played to the draft announcement and 931 players were generated. I'm trying to get it to about 155 players. Why didn't this work for me? I'm thinking it's me, because I could not find anyone else with this complaint when I searched for it. Thanks |

For shiggles, I tried something else.
Created a new league and set the draft to have 30 rounds with 6 players per round. That setting created 180 players. In reality, in a 30 team league, that is only enough players for 6 rounds, not 30, so I forwarded a few days to the draft and had the computer run it. After round 6 or 30, the draft was over as there were no longer any players to draft. I think this will actually work for what I'm trying to accomplish, but I think the setting, at least in my game, are reversed. (I have the latest patch) It should be 6 rounds, 30 players created to get the 180, not 30 rounds and 6 players. (again in my first test this generated over 900 players, setting were 5 rounds, 31 players created per round) Again, I wonder if it's a bug or just me not understanding the settings, but at least I can now get the game to do what I want it to do. Thanks again. |
