Steam AIO question

I decided to switch over to the steam version of OOTP 17, and I have the AIO listed in the workshop central, but I can't seem to install it...not sure what I might be missing.

Hello. Hope This place is the right place for my question. I am ready to update my ootp16 to ootp17. My question is which is better the regular download game or the stream download? What is the differences if any? Thank you.

Do you even need it anymore? I thought the game included most of that now with the MLB licensing. Admittedly, I haven't install the AIO in a couple years so I don't remember exactly what is in it anymore.

No differences with the game or its performance. Patches might come out like a day or two later, but not a big deal. The only problem I ever had was that I couldn't use the game sometimes if the internet was down because the Steam client wouldn't launch. But that is a Steam problem, not an OOTP problem.

There is next to zero difference, just your preference.

I did it manually, but I am still curious as to how this works, as I could not get it to.

Gotcha. I don't play with those, so I didn't notice a difference. I never tried loading it with Steam Workshop. Agree it seems weird that it would show but not work.

I actually managed to get the AIO install to work, but it was back when the game first came out and for the life of me I can't remember what I did. I do remember thinking this should be easier and more straight forward.

Highlight the mod on the left side (click on it), then on the right side where it talks about what the mod features, scroll down. You'll see a blue line of text that says "This item is downloaded. Click here to install it.". Click that and let it install. Mission complete!

I'm not sure why all the white space exists from the last line of text to the install line, but it does.

Good luck and let me know if you still cannot find it. I'll make screen shots

Sorry, but I forgot to mention that after it installs, the menu will still say "Subscribed". Not sure why the menu doesn't update, but don't worry, the files are installed. You can check your OOTP folders to confirm.

Plus eleventy-billion facegen files. But QCBandit's new download file has even more.
