Game Crashes On Opening Free Agent List

Every off-season, on Free Agent Filing day, the game crashes when I open the free agent list. This happens repeatedly.

Side note: I cannot get the experimental text-to-speech thing to work

As mentioned, the text to speech is experimental and may not work for everyone.

As for the crash, if you would please send in your league files (How to FTP files to OOTP Developments - Powered by Kayako Help Desk Software), we can investigate further what is going on.

Sorry, I hadn't realized you had uploaded your file. Your problem is that your league is too big, and you run out of memory

If you change to using page selectors instead of scroll bars (in File->Settings), you should be able to open the FA lists. Once there, you can also potentially delete a bunch of your excess FA - you probably don't need 7000+ available free agents for your league.

Depending on how you set your criteria, Mass Select is a viable option. For instance, let's say first I select Batters, then filter them to show only those with Contact Potential less than 35. Check the number of players that generates up on the top right part of the screen page. If you're good with that, hit the top blank circle above position. --- I think that tag control is available in FA, just doubted myself for a sec -- anyway, that will select ALL those players. Then right-click on any of the players and the menu tab will have the option to do X with those players. In your case, X = Delete.

Same for pitchers, etc... Alternatively, you could sort by overall rating or star ratings, whatever suits you.
