Odd created SP's

Not sure if I posted this anywhere, so made a thread. this concerns when you use the game to "create fictional players to fill in rosters." That can happen after you click to do so off the roster page or when you add a new league in a template or start game screen.

The problem is with the created pitchers. They come in very low numbers for stuff, but the game indicates they are terrific.
Take for example this pitcher (I have many)
He is listed as a 4 Star prospect. He is rated as a 150 stuff, but look at those numbers. Should not be. So change one number of stuff, from a 36 to a 35, and book, his Stuff ratings drops to something in the 90's, as it should.

That means for some reason the game is reading the stuff value wrong when the players get created and thus assigning incorrect prospect values. Just wanted to point that out for guys who are creating players into open team spots for whatever reason to look for it. Takes me 10 min to go through and fix it, but just a heads up

Actually just noticed the same thing for created batters, though it is the opposite, their contact rating goes below what it should be, as the player below shows when i change 1 number in his hitting attributes.

On further checking, a pitcher with the problem listed above ALWAYS has the same stuff value as the posted pitcher, a total of 92 actual.
Odd. I keep looking into it.

EDIT. not totally true. Seems almost always 92, there was a pitcher with that issue listed with a 85 real stuff rating.

Did you Scout the player after creation?

I have scouting off, so it is giving me a 100% accurate read.

Its just for some reason the game sees what should be 92 stuff actual, and 92 stuff potential but makes the potential 146 or something.

its odd. Try it in a game at home that is just a fun thing, set up a new minor league, create the players to fill in the teams, then check out the top star rated pitchers stuff and see if the numbers match up. I am guessing they won't

try different combinations of pitches with the same overall stuff rating. change one pitch at a time and change it back after trying the possibilities - could find out if it's one pitch in particular causing the it to happen.

maybe it's some unexpected oddity of the code for calculating stuff.
