Major League Record?
Anyone have any idea the record for most runs in an inning (both Teams) ? 19 runs were scored in the 2nd inning of a game I am currently playing.

You tied the MLB record, which is also 19. It was a chilly April night in Boston so that inning must have been excruciating for the fans; the game had been pretty normal until the 8th inning though.

Another interesting game at Fenway Park occurred in 1953: the Red Sox scored 17 runs in the 7th inning against the Tigers. Detroit was 14-43 at the time, and this game added to their embarrassment. But they actually played much better in the 2nd half and finished with a semi-respectable 60-94 record.

didnt realize Johnny Pesky ever played for the Tigers.
Think I tied another record in that same game. 12 home runs, both teams combined. |
