Create a league question
I want to create a league completely fictional that will be added onto my already existing world. It's going to be a fictional nation that I'm going to create. However I want no personnel to be in the team because I want them to come from the personnel already available. And I want no players in no teams to begin with I will manually add players from the various leftover free agents from my various existing leagues after that they can just have their own draft. Is this possible?

you should be able to isolate the league for the first year through settings (no fa entry or leaving etc), so i would suppose you can.
if it makes personnel you may have to delete by hand, but the rest is defintiely controllable. then you can turn on the draft after year 1 of the new league. this may or may not remain clean. i think it makes personnel each year and no settings to control it. the bulk of what you want should be able to be done. because of the multiple settings you'll have to ensure are set properly, it may take a couple tries if you look over something, so make a backup. the fictional nation - may have to edit an existing one, not sure if you can create one. find some small populated nation and go from there. make it anything you want as far as name, population and baseball quality. p.s. i wish nothign but the worst to the san diego super chargers... they gave detroit bobby ross and i will never forgive them. because, signing the Losing super bowl head coach is the smart thing to do.... go lions! (just projected anger about hte lions, really nothign to do with the "super chargers.") Last edited by NoOne; 05-23-2016 at 04:18 PM. |

When you create the league, use custom create and don't turn on Coaches until after it's created. This way, the teams won't have any personnel when created and once you enable them after they will sign pers from the available pool. Teams will have players when you create the league. What you can do is open each team, roster, mass select and "delete" players rather than "release" them. Your teams will then be empty and you can assign FA's as desired. |

you can mass delete all at once, don't go team-by-team.
make sure to include minor-leaguers (checkbox at top). may need to repeat with Free Agent pool - can't remember of "list all MLB" includes them. |
