What is best way to edit a player who did not play in majors that season
I am replaying the 1976 season and had some injuries in the minors...
I am going to add some players from the free agent bin like Ike Blessitt, Mike Kekich, Lowell Palmer, and Jim Nettles Off the FA heap they are rated very poorly... What is the best way to have them appear as 1976 players? Right now I have edited their stats and hit the create current ratings based on stats button...(is that ideal?) Also, if I have a player crushing AAA (like a Terry Whitfield) and I want to bring him to the show...would you all suggest editing his stats too since he does not have much experience statistically per the game Thanks |

I dont edit anyone in a historical replay. Minor league stats dont matter to me. You could edit their current as career averages off of BB Ref

That is what I do....But....it seems in doing that the game gives them an overall rating that is higher
The thing is that if you bring back a player who played his last game prior to the season you are playing his ratings are absolutely awful...so, you have to do something...just want to make sure I am doing what is best for the game |
