If you play college league here is a bug..

I'll post this on the bug forum but if you have an independent college league (not setup as direct feeder) then the game treats the league as a professional league so if you eventually have those players play on a major league those college years get treated as service years which of course affects rule 5, arbitration, and free agency. Definitely needs to get fixed asap because this essentially give my rookies 3 or 4 years of pro time before they even set foot with my organization. Big bug for me. I guess I can set the reset pro service and that should fix it but that would cause problems with my traded players from other majors.

well I thought I found a nice fix with the function to reset all service time but that does it for my entire universe and not just my college league. thank goodness for ctr alt delete. Does anyone know if I set the minimum service time to 0 if that will stop service time from accumulating? Not sure what to do.

Export your college league rosters. Open the text file in a spreadsheet. Column V is the ML Service time column..set that column's cells to zero and reimport your rosters. You may also check columns W, X, Y and make sure those cells are zero as well.
Note: When you export rosters, the column Labels are off by 3 columns. You can move them over so they line up with the correct cells. You don't need to move them back once done as that row doesn't import.
Hope this makes sense..
