Photos of Buffalo's War Memorial stadium

Does anyone have some good photos of Buffalo's War Memorial Stadium? I would love to use that in a fictional league I'm working on. I remember a few years ago someone posted a "fictional ballpark" that looked just like, complete with the Marine Midland bank sign in right field. Haven't been able to find it since.

Any help with a good photo to use for a baseball game would be appreciated.

This is

the best I've found. They suck, but they're better than nothing. I'll keep looking.

"War Memorial Stadium was originally constructed as a WPA project in 1937. It was originally named Roesch Memorial Stadium, though the name was changed to Grover Cleveland Stadium later in 1937 (honoring the former President and Buffalo public official) and then to Civic Stadium in 1938. The name was changed to War Memorial Stadium in 1960."

Most of those pix are barely larger than the previews. I for one, loathe the idea of pix below 1600x1200. I'm blessed with a 27 inch iMac, and I want nice sharp pix, not 640x480 or smaller that look jagged. Like my namesake, I strive for perfection.

Does anyone remember a few years ago someone - Teflon Skies, I think - did a version of Buffalo War Memorial Stadium. It was done as a fictional ballpark. I remember thinking it looked beautiful but I can't find it anywhere.

Please tell me I'm not nuts and this really did exist

You're not nuts.

Teflon's pix DID exist, and I used to have them. I think, in a fit of dimness, I deleted them. Have a few fictional stadiums, but they're all 640x480 so I don't use them. None look like War Memorial.

You might try looking in a file named Fictional Ballparks.zip, that can be found on ootpmods.com, by clicking on File Galleries, and then in navigating to it by opening the folders ootpmods.com > Legacy Mods > 2007.

There are a boatload of fictional ballpark images in there. Not sure if the one you're referring to is there, but it might be worth a look.
