That very rare 28 out no-hitter...

I've been playing OOTP for a long, long time... and I manage every game (usually in one-pitch mode)... probably well north of 10,000 games by now. In all that time, this is only my 3rd (or maybe 4th) no hitter and first in this particular league. I was pretty geeked... the ticker at the bottom exclaimed the no hitter was in the books!!!! But then... things went sideways... Marty McFly opened a hole in the spacetime continuum... the scorekeeper was drunk... the mob had the fix in... I dunno.... but now I had a fourth out to get in the bottom of the ninth!

After about two seconds of white knuckles, I got the 4th out on a routine fly ball ... *exhale* ... Now I realize sometimes the game glitches... but in the end, I thought the 9.1 IP box score was pretty cool. In the second screeshot, if you look to the lower right corner you'll see the game trying to hide it's shame of forcing me to face an extra hitter.

This happened because you took a screenshot before advancing the play-by-play then minimizing the game.

I've shown the developers this issue before.

Well no, because I did neither of those things. While there was a glitch... and I've seen similar glitches... like if I fat-finger two keys at the same time during play-by-play, it can cause weird things to happen... But this one didn't have anything to do with screenshots or minimizing the program. The screenshot of the pitcher's box score was taken immediately after advancing to the post game page...second screenshot was after that, taken from the game log. And the program didn't have to be minimized for any of that to happen, as I play in windowed mode and bring up the snipping tool directly from the start bar.

Now on to the next game... because I guess the no-no wasn't enough... The very next start, my pitcher rides a perfect game for 26 hitters.... only to have the 27th break it up.

These guys were my #1 and #2 starters... so if anybody was going to pull this off, I guess it was those two... but don't think I've ever had back-to-back starts like these ones.

Aw man, that last one with the perfect game broken up in the 9th is heart-wrenching to look at. I've had a rain-shortened no hitter once in OOTP 16 but never gotten a full 9-inning no hitter or perfect game. Most times my manager ends up pulling the starter before the 9th inning, even in a shut out. But that may be due to pitch count and the skill of the pitchers compared to hitters in my league.

Wow. I haven't see those flitches. It would hurt to lose the no-no because of one of those.
