OOTP Work Idea

So I may be a little obsessed with playing OOTP, so the next thing I want to do is to begin and write about my dynasty/league.

The perfect place to do this? WORK! Since I cannot play OOTP at work, I could at least write about it. My problem is not having access to OOTP at all. No access to download applications (OOTP), no way to remote into my home PC that has OOTP (e.g. Teamviewer). :-(

Has anyone actually uploaded their league to a website to view while away or at work? I know, may sound a little crazy...

Whenever I'm on vacation or away for the weekend, I use Chrome Remote Desktop on my iPhone. Not the best display experience, but it does help me out sometimes. I'd prefer that, than constantly uploading an almanac or the league reports to my blog.

Fidel Montoya the site owner is a forum member and the primary purpose is for online league. I'm quite sure that several solo leagues and some 2-3 person leagues exist. I've often thought of doing a head to head league with my son online.

A valuable client recently confessed that one of the main reasons for getting an AllSimBaseball site was to be able to access his solo league's stats and league info while at the office.

"Funny, how during the day, as often or more you think about the kid's needing picked up or the wife wanting you to stop by .... and then suddenly it's, "Hey, I wonder what Morin is hitting for the year left handed" and you just have to know" He explained.

Why wait til you get home to browse your team, check splits or scout an opponent? It can all be there for you wherever an internet connection exists. All at the price of a $7 burger.

Thank you! I am going to look into this and see how much bandwidth it uses as my work are sticklers for that!

Logmein works great - I use it both ways. Connect from work to home and from home to work.

Once you get set up, it's not significant bandwidth for browsing. You're just browsing a bunch of html files.

You just don't want to be uploading your league files FROM work.

And I don't think his user name has "Fidel" in it. But dammit, I can't recall what it is.
