Weird as hell
I've got a large random debut league. For some reason, it began with all fictional players and the historic rookies started with the first draft. Now, as each year passes, a players "real life stats" move a year into the future too.
Example...Griffey Jr. Ken Griffey Statistics and History | Baseball-Reference.com says he starts at 19. In my league, it's now 20. Next year it'll be 21...etc. I don't know if this is a bug, or if I did something idiotic. I also am not sure if it's affecting play other than strange results. I had this happen once before, but scrapped the league and presumed I'd done something bad. Help! League file is located at: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1...2p0NE9TU1FFODA

By the time
I hold the rule 5 Draft, he's moved forward from 20 to 21 when he should show 19 for his first season.

Not sure what causes this, but I do know it was around last version as well. For example, Cobb in my 16 random debut league made his debut at age 22 and had real life stats till he was 46. Supposed to be 18 and 41.

Checking through, it looks like it depends on if you start the game as a historical league or not. So basically depends if you went through the "new historical game" vs "new fictional game" setup options.
I can fix it in the next patch that in either mode we should be updating historical years properly. But it should not affect gameplay at all - just the age that you see when viewing their real stats. |
