Does activating this also mean the AI won't make lineup or pitching assignment changes to the AI teams?

Yes. I wish there was a way to allow them to make internal moves (even promotions/demotions) without letting them make organizational changes (trades/adds/drops).

you could just enable online league mode, game settings / online league

create a new GM for the teams and let the coach run the team, the GM is the one who handles promotions/demotions/signings ect...

You could even set GM/Manager for each team, then tell the AI exactly which functions to handle in the Managers office/ control & auto-play section

Totally. Sometimes the AI drops a 4-star player and I freak out for a moment. I'd at least like an "are you sure?" memo from my asst GM before he throws an asset on the waiver wire - give me a chance to trade him first.

wow that's a good idea. I'll give it a shot. I'm trying to make my college teams act like college teams and not wannabe pro teams.
