Unable to trade players bug

Hi,

I'll add screenshots when I'm home later.

There are several players on my quickstart Baltimore Orioles team who cannot be traded.

Whenever I attempt to trade them it says they're "involved in an active deal" or are "on waivers". Neither of these things are true with those players.

The only thing I can think of is that with at least two of the players this is happening to--they were involved in a deal that was "sent to an opposing manager to mull over" and the manager accepted the deal but I had second thoughts and reneged on it, rejecting the deal.

I'm wondering if somehow this confused the logic in the system and these players are perpetually stuck in that trade since they were "accepted" and "rejected"?

Again, I'll post screenshots as soon as I'm home later. But was wondering if anyone else had experienced something similar.

What players? The names may help decide if they have some contract issue IRL.

If a player has a no-trade clause the response is something like your line 4. Check on the player contract page..

Players with 10/5 rights show a message about 10/5 so that's not the likely issue.

Check the trading page to confirm that they are not stuck in an uncleared pending deal.

Any injuries?

Hi RchW,

Again, I'm away from my laptop at the moment, but will check the trading page when I return just to make sure there's not some weird uncleared pending deal I've missed.

But both players are cleared of injuries. And this is taking place in 2018--the players I remember off the top of my head are Aaron Nola and Chance Sisco.

I get no 10/5 messages (to be honest, pretty sure there are no players on my team with no trade clauses) and was able to attempt to trade both these players earlier in the same season. Since that time I have made no changes to their contracts...

I'll add screenshots in a few hours when I'm back with my laptop.

Did the AI propose a trade? If so and if you haven't said no yet they would be in a pending trade. FWIW.

Hi, could you please send your league files? (How to FTP files to OOTP Developments - Powered by Kayako Help Desk Software) I have not seen this, but if we have the files that should help us figure out why we think he cannot be traded.
