The Black Hole of My Closer Position???
Fellow OTPers,
I'm in a quickstart game now in the year 2030. It seems no matter who I put in the closer position on my team, they fail miserably. I've developed my own guys, traded for closers from other teams. . .guys with great ratings and success elsewhere come to my team and fail. I've tweaked my strategy, etc. No luck. Any thoughts or help? |

Fire your pitching coach.
Try playing out your games if you don't |

Just for clarification, are you saying this is happening in the season 2030 or this has been afflicting your team throughout your entire quickstart campaign?
Andjbock could be on the right track...your pitching coach could certainly be a factor. Other than that though, it depends how long you're keeping these pitchers. If you're giving up on them fairly quickly, it may just be sheer luck that they're all performing poorly to start and then you're giving up on them before they can even out. |

This is only for your closers? The rest of your pitching staff gets different results?
