Trevor Story,Bryan Buxton
Might when when Rookie of the Year but in 2016 Rosters no chance because Top Prospect list is missing them,Matz,Jon Gray,Gallo,Maeda and others. Also I notice that if you make a Roster of the Top Prospects from 2016 Rosters are getting placed on Waviers and not Traded so my guess is to put them on a Minor League Team and let the Computer decide who, gets added to like 70 man right away of the Top Prospects.
I would do the same with Top Pitchers and Players.

I'm sure you didn't mean to write it like that as you've been around forever. However I sincerely do not comprehend this one beyond what I agree is a bit of a strange initial top prospects list in this version. Last edited by Airdrop01; 04-19-2016 at 09:23 AM. |

No, that's pretty much how he writes all the time.

What I mean the Roster developers do a good job in making the Rosters but like Story his Potential gone down in my League and in real life it looks he will be a Star.
Also a problem my Team Orlando Stars have a 23 Roster in Season while other Teams have 25.

He's not a native speaker. My guess is Korean. Am I right?

Story wasn't a top prospect in real life. I believe he was ranked 7 in the Rockies system. I think it's too early to proclaim him a star. I remember Shane Spencer back in 2002 having an impressive month as a rookie.

I did boost him a bit, but we're not going to go overboard until he keeps it up for at least a full season. |

As for the top prospect lists, do you have scouting turned off, that could explain some discrepancies?
Though to be totally honest, the guy who usually rates the top prospects couldn't help this year and we had to get to it in amongst other things, so frankly we didn't do quite as great a job with rating prospects as usual. They should look pretty good overall, but I'm sure there are a few things that are off. |

There definitely seems to be something a bit off with the top prospect lists though in the most recent builds. I'll take a look at them, and maybe get Markus to do so as well, to see if it's a ratings issue or an issue with how the game is calculating the lists.

Bear in mind also that if a guy has 45 days of service (as Buxton had last year), or is over 25y on Jan 1st (as, say, Maeda is), OOTP will make him ineligible for prospect lists, even if he would be eligible for BA's real life list. So the lists can't be identical.

Markus suggested we fiddle with the service times when this happens, which we did, but I think we later went through and adjusted the service times back again. I've adjusted Matz and Gallo down again for now, so that at least they'll show up. Not going to bother with Buxton f.e. as he's already lost his prospect eligibility irl as well as in game. |

But Buxton has been talked about been AL Rookie of the Year for 2016. Okay Story was a Top Prospect in 2015. We also have Mid season Prosoect List to that changes to. Same with Top Players and Pitchers not everybody can make list same with up and coming Free-Agents.
Gallo is blocked by Beltre so that's why he is still in Minors.
