LOL left him in too long

63 I traded for a young Gaylord perry, game 2 of the season I left him in too long I think he was ok in the 8th at 127 pitches, I did 1/2 inning ai for his pitching, gave up 7 runs and hit the 170 pitch mark... LOL I think Im firing my manager 2 games in

They really did stuff like that back then. Sent guys out every 4th day, expected complete games, and regularly had double-headers.

No wonder Koufax imploded at age 30. Dude had 54 (!) complete games in his last two seasons.

This was in July, on a Tuesday. Not the end of the year. Spahn took the ball again on Sunday and threw a shutout against the Astros. Marichal lost on the following Sunday, giving up 2 runs in 7 IP.

In-sane.
