It's not nice to nit pick... The year is a reference to when the club was established... It's not a 1903 version...

Teams:
Broken Bow Arrows
Maple Grove Mavericks
Aurora Red Foxes
Kalamazoo Flyers
Brooklyn (Indiana) Bandits
Lincoln Stars
Rockford Eagles
Green Bay Hounds

Could some one create 1920's style logos and jerseys for them? and thanks for doing so!

Interesting photo...

In 1915, the New York Giants major league baseball team did their spring training in Marlin, Texas. Traces of Texas reader Karen Rankin shared this remarkable photo of her great uncle, Fred Merkle, in mid air as he slides (?) into a base. The other man is not identified. Fred lead the Giants with four home runs that season and had some notable teammates: Jim Thorpe, Christy Mattewson, Rube Marquard etc.... Karen found this photograph among her great grandmother's things about 30 years ago.

Idaho Spuds: I was thinking a combination of red, yellow, and brown would work for them

Little Rock Nine: Possibly a purple and black combo for this one

Any way you could make a Rochester North Stars logo? The North Star was an abolitionist newspaper published by Frederick Douglas in Rochester, NY. It references how runaway slaves would follow the north star to freedom.
