I'm sure this has been asked before

Hello OOTPer's,

I posted this in another forum but wasn't getting any response.

As some of you may know, I created a "World Baseball League" a few years back and many of you helped with logos, jerseys, settings, etc. I had a good following and life got in the way and I have been away for a few years.

Well, now I am back and am kind of "rusty" with the controls. I have restarted the design of my league and want to make it better than ever!

Question for you all.

This time around I want to start with a "world" draft of current players. I only want to be able to draft real players for the first year but I want players to be created in years after that.

How do I do this?

Thanks again!

Well, you can start with a normal league and have an inaugural draft, but move & rename all the teams worldwide - something like that?

Thanks for the response, Hammercraft.

I thought about that as well. However, my fictional league has 48 teams while the current MLB only has 32. Think I could create 8 expansion teams before the draft?

Another option, not sure if possible, is to load some sort of player database. Not sure if that's a thing or not.

Sure, you definitely can. Go into the league settings, then Edit League Structure - from there you have complete control of the entire league (& minors). You can create divisions, move teams, etc. I'm not exactly sure how it will implement the inaugural draft after you change the league structure, check to make sure it includes all the new teams before you start it.
