Issue with Historic Expansion

I've seen this mentioned before and had a similar issue before but thought it was user error. However, this league I created "out-of-the-box" so to speak as a historical and using the new historical minor leagues.

I started in 1976 and simmed until the end of the season. Once we went to the offseason, the Expansion Draft, Protection List, etc showed up under the league menu. However, on the league schedule, the Expansion Draft wasn't scheduled until Nov 17, a little over a month later.

I just simmed up until Nov 17 and received e-mail notifications for both protection lists deadline and the expansion draft, yet there is nothing in the league menu where it normally would be.

When I try to advance the day I am told that the Expansion Draft has not been finished yet and brought to the expansion draft screen. However, I cannot do anything on that screen. Nothing shows up on the screen when you select "continue draft". There is nothing under 'draft rules" either.

I'm basically stuck here. I cannot sim past this day and I cannot do the draft. I'm guessing this is some sort of bug as the draft populated as soon as the offseason started instead of Nov 17 (the 2nd day of free agency) as it was on the schedule.

Anyone else experience this? Is there a way to currently start a historical league and start out as an expansion team as I am trying to do?

Any insight into this? I can't figure out why this would happen. I turned off revenue sharing but can't remember changing anything that would effect this. That change I think was after the expansion draft first showed up. I can't think that made a difference. Just don't know why there was a link for expansion draft right after advance to offseason but the schedule didn't show it happening for over a month.

The issue I've been finding that is kind of an annoyance if you're playing only as "God" or hands off is that YOU have to go to the 'Submit Protection List' screen and either click 'A.I. Handle' (for literally every team) or manually do each team list yourself then click submit. There's no other automatic way around it which probably explains the issue you're running into.

Really? I thought commissioner mode only allowed you to do things if you wanted to, not forced you to do certain things. I still think that is a bug

I redid this and was not in commissioner mode when I advanced to the offseason and it worked fine just FYI for anyone else who encounters this.

I submitted every team's list and it's still stuck.
